We have 2 American Bullies. 1 Male 140lbs and 1 female 75lbs. We sought Chris out to see if he could sort out some aggression issues with the bigger male Bully. Right off the bat , we found Chris to be very knowledgeable with dog behavioral issues. Chris patiently worked with both dogs and we quickly saw how the bigger dog responded to Chris's training. We now have a very confident but well behaved Bully around people and surroundings that in the past would trigger aggression. We fully recommend Chris at Breakthrough Dog Training.

We started training our Cane Corso, Cain, with Chris when he was about 4–5 months old. At the time, Cain was very scared and reactive, which made it incredibly stressful to take him anywhere. From the initial evaluation, Chris was professional and set very clear expectations for what we could achieve. ​What stood out most was Chris’s patience—not just with Cain, but with me as an owner. He was very understanding when I had to reschedule sessions and always took the time to articulate exactly how and why certain techniques worked. He addressed every concern I had with total confidence. ​I wanted an obedient dog, and that is exactly what I got. More importantly, I gained the confidence to take Cain out in public without the fear of him hurting someone. We have two Corsos, and we’re already planning to have Chris help my wife with our female, Mona, very soon. His training is worth it, no questions asked.

We had a great experience with Chris at Breakthrough Dog Training. He trained all five of our dogs together—the mother Zarah (2 years old) and four 7-month-old puppies—which is not easy to do. Zarah is a full-blood, high-drive working dog, and Chris knew exactly how to channel her energy and leadership. Puppy Stella went from not listening well to responding much better to commands. Lucky stopped pulling and now walks calmly and well-behaved with my dad on their daily walks. Dante and Bella are now able to walk together confidently in public.
